Why we started
Adamchyk began from a wish to keep attention on Adam, Sophiia and Tetiana as people, not as a headline. The film is a memorial to their lives and to the family story around them.
Adamchyk is a memorial film honouring Adam, Sophiia and Tetiana. Created with care for the family’s story, it brings together documentary material and respectful reconstruction so their lives remain at the centre.
The film was created to honour Adam, Sophiia and Tetiana, and to keep their names at the centre of the story. It has taken shape across several releases, each prepared with care for the family’s story, context and privacy.
Adamchyk began from a wish to keep attention on Adam, Sophiia and Tetiana as people, not as a headline. The film is a memorial to their lives and to the family story around them.
Produced voluntarily by Blackwater Film, the project combines documentary material with careful reconstruction and narration. Every stage of the work has been shaped with care for the family’s story, context and privacy.
The film was first released on 7 November 2025, one year after the tragedy. An extended edition followed on 16 December 2025, on what would have been Adam’s two and a half year birthday.
The final short version was released on 16 June 2026, on what would have been Adam’s third birthday.
Longer versions remain available for private or extended screening contexts where the story can be introduced and held carefully.
